At HotBunzz Street Cuizine we believe in creating a gourmet bun inspired by international flavours in a grab 'n go format. We want to bring the movement of street cuisine to a more traditional setting. Baked fresh daily, HotBunzz uses all natural ingredients and no preservatives with toppings that entertain the eyes and the palate.

About Us


From bao to bunzz

Mark Oliver, creator of HotBunzz Street Cuizine™, came up with the concept after falling in love with bao in China and pan in Japan during his first trip to southeast Asia many years ago. He dreamt of putting unique new flavours inside a bun and landed on a baked bun as opposed to the steamed bao. He launched the idea at the Toronto Underground Market, adding a variety of toppings to the stuffed brioche-style bun to create a street-style tastebud adventure uniquely found in HotBunzz Street Cuizine™. Today, the HotBunzz team works with talented chefs to serve them fresh from the oven at street events, food festivals, beer festivals, music festivals, ROM Friday Night Live, on the golf course, art galleries … anywhere we can bring our ovens!
